Job Description

Our team is growing and we’re looking for Accredited Exercise Physiologists who are all about connecting people to a healthier life. You’ll help patients restore function, improve mobility, and regain confidence wherever they are! You’ll be bringing tailored rehab programs straight to homes, gyms, and community spaces, making a real impact on people’s recovery journeys.

What You’ll Do:

  • Patient Hero: Prescribe personalised treatment plans to help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals, using your strong clinical experience and confidence to make autonomous decisions.  
  • Data Dynamo: Track patient progress and outcomes, preparing detailed reports to share with relevant stakeholders.   
  • Referrer Engagement: Regularly meet with established referral network to strengthen existing relationships. 
  • Collaborator: Work closely as part of a multi-disciplinary team including specialists, GP’s, vocational rehab, injury managers and other allied health professionals to ensure seamless operations and stellar patient care.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Membership with ESSA as an AEP at the commencement of the position
  • Demonstrated experience delivering high‑quality clinical care and managing diverse patient presentations
  • Confidence engaging with stakeholders and representing the organisation professionally
  • Industry experience across multiple sectors highly advantageous
  • Unwavering commitment to exceptional customer and stakeholder service
  • Valid driver’s licence

Guardian Exercise Rehabilitation was established in 2000 by Exercise Physiologist, John McDonald, who had a vision of ensuring that structured physical activity was a key foundation of rehabilitation at the earliest time in the recovery journey for as many individuals as possible.

Over the years the company has evolved to become an industry leader in clinically-guided, best-practice rehabilitation interventions for people afflicted with injury or illness under a compensable-injury policy, principally across Workers’ Compensation, Life Insurance/Income Protection and Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) / Compulsory Third Party (CTP) schemes.
