Job Description

Kaizen Approach is currently seeking an Exercise Mobility Analyst to provide mobility planning, movement validation, and execution support for U.S. Central Command (USCENTCOM) joint and combined exercises at MacDill AFB, FL. In this role, you will support the planning and execution of exercise deployment and distribution requirements, manage intra-theater airlift movement records, and synchronize force flow throughout the USCENTCOM Area of Responsibility (AOR). This position involves manipulating and interpreting JOPES and TPFDD data, validating movement requirements within ITARS, coordinating with service components and Joint Task Force validators, and ensuring movement requirements comply with applicable theater guidance. You will identify validation issues and trends, develop corrective actions, and provide guidance and training to organizations responsible for exercise movement validation.

Requirements:

  • Must have the ability to support joint and combined exercise planning and execution, deployment and distribution operations, force flow, mobility planning, and intra-theater airlift requirements.
  • Must possess experience utilizing the Joint Planning and Execution System (JOPES), including manipulation and interpretation of Time-Phased Force and Deployment Data (TPFDD) for exercise planning, validation, and execution.
  • Must be capable of managing and validating intra-theater airlift movement requirements and movement records using the Intra-Theater Airlift Request System (ITARS).
  • Must have the ability to coordinate with service components, component commands, Joint Task Forces, mobility stakeholders, and movement validators to synchronize exercise transportation and deployment requirements.
  • Must possess knowledge of TPFDD Letters of Instruction (LOI), Foreign Clearance Guide requirements, movement validation procedures, and applicable USCENTCOM theater deployment and distribution guidance.
  • Must have experience within the last five (5) years using GATES, JOPES, Single Mobility System (SMS), and Aircraft and Personnel Automated Clearance System (APACS), with experience identifying movement validation issues, recurring errors, and negative trends.
  • Must possess and maintain a current IAT Level I professional certification and have the ability to provide guidance, coordination, and formal training to service and component validators supporting the USCENTCOM AOR.
  • Must have three to seven (3–7) years of relevant mobility/logistics operations experience or equivalent military/operational experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, transportation, military studies, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance is required.

A variety of factors can impact the final salary offered, including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and wage rates, relevant work experience, specialized skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
