[What you will be working on]
The Building and Construction Authority (BCA) is seeking Engineers, Architects to contribute to the development and regulation of Singapore's built environment. This role involves adminstering building regulations and developing new strategies that will shape a future-ready Built Environment Sector
Job Responsibilities:
Performing site inspections and audits to check site adherence to approved building plans and regulations.
Reviewing and granting of temporary occupation permits (TOP) and certificates of statutory completion (CSC) applications; and
Reviewing and developing strategies, policies and processes in relation to Building Control.
[What we are looking for]
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Civil and Structural Engineering, Mechnical or Electrical Engineering
At least 2 years of relevant experience in design, construction, or building control, preferably in design and supervision of construction projects
Strong understanding of Singapore's building control regulations, codes, and standards.
Good analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with various stakeholders.
Able to work as part of a team and posssess eagerness to learn.
Registered Professional Engineer (PE) or Registered Architect (RA) in Singapore, or pending registration, would be advantageous
