Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for agricultural commodities and food products.

• Manage and optimize the distribution network, ensuring timely delivery and minimal post harvest losses.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and other key stakeholders in the supply chain.

• Conduct market analysis to identify growth opportunities and competitive threats in the edible oils and packaged food segments.

• Collaborate with the marketing team to implement promotional campaigns tailored to local market needs.

• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehousing teams to ensure product availability.

• Provide regular sales forecasts and performance reports to the Head - Marketing & Sales.

• Train and mentor sales representatives to enhance their skills and productivity.

• Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing complaints and feedback promptly.

• Stay updated on industry trends, including sustainable farming practices and supply chain innovations.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Strong understanding of sales principles and techniques, particularly in the agricultural and food processing sectors. • Proven ability to manage distribution networks and achieve sales targets. • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to engage with diverse stakeholders. • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field. • MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Sales & Marketing is preferred.

Years & Type of Experience

• Fresher / up to 2 years of experience in sales, preferably in the agribusiness or FMCG sectors. • Exposure to managing distribution networks and understanding of fresh and perishable supply chains.
