Sustainable Finance
• Manages and monitors the designated Sustainable Finance client and productportfolio, performing due diligence and managing and reporting on identified risks.
• Participate in collaboration with Group Risk and Group Finance in reviewing the impact of ESG consideration on the business portfolio and financial performance.
• Research, reviews, and mitigates sustainability risks, monitoring and reporting on these risks as part of the Bank’s broader risk management strategy.
• Monitor and ensure the sustainability performance of the financing portfolio, incompliance with the Bank’s and regulators sustainability guidelines.
• Integrate ESG considerations into the Bank’s business plan and strategy for the Business Units
• Provide sustainability technical support and guidance on sustainability related financing, risks, and opportunities to internal stakeholders.
• Ramp up engagement with internal stakeholder on sustainability risk and opportunities.
• Lead the development of necessary data in execution of emission computation particularly for Scope category and analysis for the bi-monthly production and reporting of the Group’s GHG emission.
• Collaborate with internal and stakeholders to manage internal infrastructure to ensure the accuracy of data provided.
• Facilitate collaboration with relevant internal and external stakeholders and manage the production of Sustainability Report or reporting standards.

Others
• Provide support to other Business Units/divisions/subsidiaries in developing their strategic plans/papers.

Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree/ Master/ PhD in Finance, Statistics, Sustainable Development, Environmental Science,
Environmental Engineering, Science, or any other related business field.
• Minimum of 4 years of working experience in Financial Institution, Strategy, Risk and Data Management and Reporting, in a fast paced and dynamic business environment.
• Certification relevant subject i.e., Sustainability, Risk Management etc.

Skills and Knowledge
• Inquisitive mind to solve problems
• Independent and analytical thinker with the ability to conduct research and data analysis with attention to details
• Ability to multi-task and work in a challenging fast-paced environment
• Computer literate with extremely good Excel skills.
• Familiar with local or international Sustainability/Climate related regulatory requirements and standards i.e. Bursa Malaysia Sustainability Reporting Guide, Climate Change & Principle based Taxonomy (CCPT), Climate Risk Management & Scenario Analysis (CRMSA) and the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB), Partnership for Carbon Accounting Financials (PCAF), Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD), United Nations Principles for Responsible Investment (UN PRI) and United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative (UNEPFI).
• Possess vast knowledge in Sustainability and ESG and up to date with the latest Sustainability and ESG issues in Malaysia and globally especially in the financial sector covering the aspect of ESG-related reporting, ESG Risks, ESG Product and Services.
• Ability to manage a team and drive cross functional projects.
• Strong communication, interpersonal skills and good presentation skills.
• An evident passion for Sustainability/ESG.
• Skilled in graphic designs is an added advantage.
