By joining our Office of Transportation Delivery/Human Service Transportation Delivery Branch as an Executive
Staff Advisor in
Franklin County, you’ll Support the Executive Director by providing administrative support and technical
management assistance to the Transportation Programs within the Office of Transportation Delivery.

Holders of the Executive Staff Advisor position will complete tasks such as:

  • Assist in completing and reviewing the Cap Rate Analysis sent to the Actuarial Consultant for the Human
    Services Transportation Delivery Branch.
  • Prepare reports and other materials required for the Executive Director to use in meetings.
  • Compile and, or, review Encounter Data for the Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Program.
  • Provide technical assistance and participate in state and internal reviews.

Ideal candidate will have experience in:

  • Experience with data analysis
  • Experience researching, applying federal and, or, state rules and regulations
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access
  • Experience with public speaking
  • Experience with problem solving

Travel is required in and out of state. Most work is completed sitting at a desk.

Minimum Requirements
EDUCATION:
Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS:
Four years of administrative or management experience.

Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE:
A master's degree will substitute for one year of the required experience.

Substitute EXPERIENCE for EDUCATION:
Additional administrative, management, or research experience will substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis.

Working Conditions

Incumbents working in this job title primarily perform duties in an office setting.

Probationary Period

This job has an initial and promotional probationary period of 6 months, except as provided in KRS 18A.111.
