Executive - Sourcing & Supply Chain

(Based at Thulhiriya)

Strategically located within Sri Lanka’s Industrial Zone in Thulhiriya, TEXO is a fabric processing mill, offering value adding services such as dyeing, finishing and printing of cotton-based fabrics to global brands. Along with TEXO’s capability of providing customized orders, this MAS owned entity also benefits from the cost and sustainability advantage of being located within the MAS Fabric Park.

We are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to be to manage the sourcing process to ensure that the customer orders are completed accurately and on time, while identifying opportunities for cost saving and implementing lean initiatives to improve the efficiency of the sourcing process,

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Confirm that the relevant raw material is sourced for the production process in line with all processes in a timely manner in order to facilitate, accurate completion of customer orders.

• Attend all required meeting and provide required information whilst highlighting all the issues, keeping update relevant parties on the delivery status and necessary actions taken to resolve issues.

• Confirm the right goods are in housed at right time whilst keeping accuracy records on time in all required systems.

• Contribute to the implementation and sustaining of Lean initiatives in the way individual KPIs are met to the required standard.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

• Degree/ Professional Qualifications in Management or relevant
• 1 - 2 years of relevant work experience
