240-day contract (Pro-rated)

Effective employment date is October 20, 2026

This individual will serve as the Superintendent's secretary. In addition, the successful candidate will fulfill the following duties, as well as other duties as assigned:

• Serve as the human resource coordinator consisting of duties such as employment verifications, benefits/insurance management, employee certifications, tracking of seniority, new hire/termination notifications and onboarding, and maintain the Human Resource Management System within WVEIS
• Child nutrition secretarial duties
• Maintaining the substitute call out system
• Preparation of board meeting agendas/minutes
• Preparation of the Certified List
• Preparation and maintenance of Seniority Master Lists
• Attend all board meetings
• Update and maintain TCBOE policy manual and employee handbook
• QUALIFICATIONS:
• High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required), and must pass the West Virginia Classification Test for Secretary
• SALARY:
• Salary based on experience and education level per CBOE salary schedule plus competitive benefits package equal to approximately 35% of direct compensation.
