A DAY IN A LIFE

At Teleport, we’re building toward IPO — and that means doing the boring things well. Execution, discipline, and follow-through matter as much as big ideas.

As a start up, you can expect your days to be pretty varied. Multitasking is normal, and sometimes, your skills or natural talents will be leveraged to support other business priorities. That said, the bulk of your working hours should involve you having to:

Sales & Business Development

  • Assist in identifying and developing new air cargo opportunities.
  • Support the generation of qualified leads and contribute to closing deals with key accounts.
  • Promote Teleport’s cargo offerings to freight forwarders, consolidators, and direct clients.
  • Maintain regular engagement with clients and partners to build lasting relationships.

Customer & Account Management

  • Understand client requirements and support in offering tailored logistics solutions.
  • Coordinate with operations and capacity teams to secure space and manage allocations.
  • Handle customer inquiries, resolve basic issues, and ensure follow-through on requests.
  • Support rate negotiations and spot pricing discussions where required.

Performance Reporting & Insights

  • Monitor and track account performance (volume, revenue, service levels).
  • Prepare performance reports and provide insights to internal stakeholders.
  • Assist in identifying opportunities to improve service delivery or pricing competitiveness.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Liaise with internal stakeholders (ops, pricing, network, customer service) to ensure smooth execution.
  • Support issue resolution for offloads, documentation discrepancies, or service delays.
  • Ensure adherence to SLAs and delivery commitments with minimal disruption.

Requirements

These are minimum-requirement skills and a ‘must-have’ for the role

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in air freight, freight forwarding, or logistics sales support.
  • Strong understanding of air cargo processes, airline booking systems, and key documentation (e.g., AWB, MAWB/HAWB).
  • Excellent communication skills with a proactive, collaborative, and problem-solving mindset.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience using CRM tools such as Pipedrive, Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar platforms.
  • Proficient in Google Workspace and Google Sheets / Microsoft Excel for reporting and data analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and present insights using Google Sheets and Google Slides.
  • SG PR or Singaporean only.
