Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Market Development

  • Retail Revenue Generation: Proactively identify and secure retail sales opportunities from building contractors, hardware suppliers, and Small to Medium Enterprises (SMEs).
  • Technical Product Promotion: Market and sell a specialized portfolio including Building Management Systems (BMS), Fire Fighting equipment, and Ventilation solutions.
  • Customer Acquisition: Conduct daily outreach and field visits to build a robust pipeline of retail clients and trade partners.

Commercial Management

  • Payment Collection: Take full ownership of the end-to-end commercial process, including timely payment collection and aging debt management.
  • Order Coordination: Collaborate closely with internal production, logistics, and technical teams to ensure customer requirements are accurately fulfilled and delivered on time.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, site visits, and collection status for management review.

Relationship Management

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for retail customers, ensuring high levels of service and technical support.
  • Feedback Loop: Gather and share market insights regarding competitor activity and retail pricing trends to refine sales strategies.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years in retail sales, specifically within the HVAC, MEP, or construction materials industry.
  • Technical Knowledge: Proven familiarity with BMS, Fire Fighting systems, and Ventilation equipment is essential.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical preferred) or Business Administration.
  • Skills:
    • Strong negotiation and persuasive communication skills.
    • Demonstrated ability in credit control and payment collection.
    • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Logistics: Possession of a valid driver’s license and willingness to perform extensive field visits.
