Haycarb is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Laboratory Executive to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for a professional with hands-on experience in laboratory operations, equipment maintenance, and quality control.
Position: Executive – Quality Control (Laboratory Operation)
Location: Madampe- Manufacturing Facility
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure the quality of final products is in line with required standards and approve products that meet specifications.
Maintain all lab equipment in proper working condition and ensure they operate under standard conditions to meet target performance.
Ensure accuracy of all laboratory tests in compliance with standard test procedures (STPs) and special methods.
Oversee and maintain general housekeeping within the laboratory to uphold a clean and organized environment.
Implement and sustain 5S practices to improve efficiency and safety.
Ensure that all laboratory activities comply with ISO 9001 (Quality Management System) and ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System) standards.
Take adequate safety precautions to prevent work-related accidents within the lab environment.
Arrange the dispatch of final products as per order sheet specifications without delays.
Ensure the timely preparation and submission of customer sample analyses.
Perform additional duties relevant to the current role, as and when assigned by management.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in science (Four years), with Chemistry as a main subject from a recognized institution or a Master’s degree (MSc or MPhil) in a chemistry-related field, along with a bachelor’s degree in science with Chemistry as a main subject from a recognized institution."
Experience in laboratory operations or in the manufacturing sector will be a distinct advantage.
Strong knowledge in laboratory and people management.
Proficiency in computer literacy.
Good understanding of quality and safety standards.
Good communication and interpersonal skills
