JOB TITLE: Executive, Production - Pharmaceuticals

JOB PURPOSE

Implement daily/Shift-wise production schedules, ensuring that all processes are carried out according to the production plan.

Adhering to regulatory, GMP, and HSE guidelines in assigned production areas.

Ensure consistent good quality of product by supervising team of operators with effective utilization of resources to fulfill the production objectives in respective unit operations.

REQUIREMENTS

Education / Experience

Graduate / Post Graduate in Pharmacy with 1 to 5 years of experience in Pharmaceutical Production

Production

• Achieving daily/shift-wise output of respective production areas by adhering to regulatory, GMP, and HSE guidelines, with proper utilization of resources and optimum cycle time.
• Ensure that manufacturing operations comply with SOPs and current cGMP.
• Performing the production activities to achieve the production plan.
• Performing all the SAP-related activities as and when needed based on respective unit operations.
• Performing all the serialization activities as and when needed based on respective unit operations.
• Monitor the operation and maintenance of production equipment on the shop floor.

Compliance

• Implementing and ensuring compliance with GMP, HSE, and ISO guidelines/standards in assigned production areas.
• Maintaining GMP documentation for the process as well as area documents in assigned production areas.
• Maintaining documentation for the process validation and qualification in assigned production areas as and when needed.
• Collaborate with the Quality Assurance (QA) team to implement and maintain quality control measures.

Coordination

Coordinating with…

• Shift reliever for day-to-day activities on the shop floor in assigned production areas.
• Engineering department for preventive and breakdown maintenance, modifications, etc.
• Quality department for all quality-related activities related to assigned production areas.
• Warehouse department for any materials supply.

Monitoring and Improvement :

• Monitoring and improving the yield of assigned products.
• Monitoring and improving the overall equipment efficiency of the respective area.
• Maintain the standard labour hours of respective products.
• Monitoring and improving the on-time in full delivery.

Training

• Impart training to the operative staff on GMP, HSE, ISO requirement, operation of machines and process improvement.

Others

• Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving initiatives to address production challenges.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or breakdowns to ensure timely repairs and minimal production downtime.
• Carrying out any other assignments or projects like qualifications and validations as per the instruction of the dept. Head to meet the organizational priorities.
• Identifying and correcting unsafe conditions or behaviors and promptly reporting other potentially hazardous situations.
• Maintaining plant assets in good condition and making optimum use of all resources.
