
Key Responsibilities:
Be responsible for responding to technical problems that occur abruptly and require immediate solutions
• Identify and resolve technical issues.
• Join the Production management team and report directly to Production Lead.
• Provide technical support and handle production incidents from internal/external customers.
• Proactively monitor the production environment in terms of resource utilization, API latency, API response codes, and other factors that may potentially cause production incidents.
• Collaborate with the team to deploy production changes/releases through CI/CD pipelines.
***Please be notified that this role requires 24/7 support for production (proactive monitoring Core batch at night, standby support at weekend/public holiday, follow on-call rotation with allowance)
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s / Engineer’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in DevOps / Cloud / Operations Engineer.
• GCP or Linux Foundation certification (CKA,CKAD) is a big plus.
• At least 3 years experience in developer or IT is plus.
Technical / Functional skills
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD, GitOps, and automation workflow tools such as Jenkins and GitLab-CI.
• Hands-on experience deploying and troubleshooting containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (K8s).
• Good understanding of Linux/Unix systems operation and basic networking concepts, including DNS, routing, firewalls, and load balancing.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP big plus), AWS, or Microsoft Azure.
• Solid experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
• Ability to investigate production issues, perform basic troubleshooting, and support incident recovery under guidance.
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.
• Basic understanding of security best practices, including SSH, SSL/TLS, VPNs, and firewalls.
• Understanding of API gateways and reverse proxies such as Nginx, Kong, ApiSix. Personal skills (Soft Competencies)
