As an Executive Production (Assembly Operations), you will play a critical role in ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality assembly operations that meet customer expectations. You will lead daily production activities, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and operational excellence at Molex Capabilities India.

You will join our Manufacturing Operations team and work closely with Quality, Planning, Engineering, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and Warehouse functions. Together, we strive to create value for our customers through safe operations, efficient processes, continuous improvement, and a strong culture of teamwork.

What You Will Do

  • Lead daily assembly operations to achieve production schedules, quality targets, and customer commitments.
  • Optimize utilization of manpower, equipment, and manufacturing resources to maximize productivity.
  • Monitor key performance indicators such as productivity, OEE, downtime, scrap, and schedule adherence, taking corrective actions when needed.
  • Coach and develop production operators while fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and employee engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards, work instructions, customer requirements, and manufacturing best practices.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on yield improvement, defect reduction, waste elimination, and cost optimization.
  • Promote a strong safety culture through adherence to EHS standards, 5S practices, and safe work procedures.
  • Partner with Planning, Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams to resolve production challenges and improve operational performance.
  • Support new product introductions (NPI), engineering changes, process validations, and production ramp-up activities.
  • Maintain accurate production records, inventory traceability, and ERP (SAP) transactions while ensuring documentation compliance.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, assembly, or production operations.
  • Experience working in a high-volume manufacturing or shop-floor environment.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and workplace safety practices.
  • Experience using ERP systems, preferably SAP.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience leading production teams or supervising manufacturing operations.
  • Background in automotive, electronics, cable & connectivity, industrial products, or related industries.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM, Kaizen, or other operational excellence methodologies.
  • Experience improving productivity, reducing waste, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Understanding of OEE, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and manufacturing performance metrics.
  • Experience supporting NPI, process validation, and production ramp-up activities.
