Role Executive Producer
Location New York, NY

This position is full-time, and requires a hybrid work schedule (in-office and on-location). VaynerMedia NY headquarters is located in Hudson Yards, NYC.

We are searching for discipline-specific production professionals to bring into our ecosystem.

Who you are You are a production leader with deep expertise in either line production, post production or experiential activations, operating with the mindset and rigor of a production company executive. You are both a strategic leader and a craft expert who understands how great work is made from the ground up. You bring a strong operational lens to creative ambition, balancing creative integrity, financial responsibility and executional excellence.

You are comfortable managing and developing teams while overseeing complex, multi-channel campaigns across social, digital, film, experiential and emerging formats. You have extensive relationships across the production ecosystem including directors, editors, crew, post partners and vendors, and you know how to assemble the right team for every production challenge. You lead with clarity, mentorship and decisiveness, and you thrive in environments where speed, creativity and precision must coexist.

• Bring an executive level production lens to early ideation to unlock bold, scalable ideas and guide trade-offs between speed, cost, craft, partners, formats and output.
• Partner with internal agency leadership across disciplines to assess project feasibility and align production strategy with creative and business objectives.
• Review creative concepts, scripts and activation ideas with a critical production lens, identifying risks, efficiencies, and executional opportunities.
• Oversee end-to-end production across multiple campaigns and clients, ensuring production plans, timelines and resources are aligned with the ambition of the work.
• Provide deep knowledge across either live action, post production or experiential activations, ensuring projects are structured with the appropriate production approach within your realm of expertise.
• Demonstrate an executive understanding of the full production lifecycle within a corporate ecosystem, including working knowledge of parallel departments such as finance, business affairs, human resources, operations, and project management.
• Leverage an extensive network of directors, editors, crew, production partners and vendors to staff productions with the best possible talent and expertise.
• Lead and mentor producers and production staff, providing guidance on production planning, budgeting, vendor management and execution, accountable for the financial success of all jobs in their realm.
• Act as a senior client-facing production lead, capable of navigating complex stakeholder environments with confidence and discretion.
• Own end-to-end production for 360 campaigns by building budgets with talent (union and non-union), locations, schedule, and post considerations in mind, with budgets ranging from $500k-1M+.
• Partner with internal teams to ensure proper trafficking, versioning and delivery across internal pipelines and agency deliverables.
• Help evolve how production operates within a changing advertising landscape while maintaining best-in-class production standards.

Experience & Qualifications

• 10-12+ years of experience in advertising production, with deep expertise in live action, post production or experiential activations.
• Proven experience leading and developing production teams while overseeing complex campaigns and productions.
• Expected to travel as needed for productions, which may include evenings and weekends
• Collaborative communicator with the ability to manage pressure and extremely tight deadlines.
• Relationship builder with an extensive network of directors, editors, crew, post partners and production vendors.
• Must be proactive, highly organized, detail-oriented, and a solutions-driven decision maker
• Strong background in reviewing bids, budgeting, and managing complex productions at scale.
• Experience with emerging AI tools and integration into modern production workflows is a plus.

Base Salary $165,000—$210,000 USD
