Executive - Operations

(Based at MDS - Rathmalana)

We are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to monitor the production process, highlight deviations and ensure the required raw materials are available in a timely manner to achieve production targets facilitating order fulfilment.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with relevant teams to ensure all machinery and equipment are operating at optimal performance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives through digitalization and autonomation to maintain consistent production flow, especially to the needlepoint.
• Monitor raw material and accessories stability reports to identify and address machinery or equipment issues promptly.
• Support timely and accurate receipt of raw materials, accessories, and embellishments in line with production schedules.
• Participate in pre-production meetings and ensure all documentation is in place to avoid disruptions.
• Provide machinery-related support to the cutting department by reviewing re-cut order summaries.
• Uphold health, safety, compliance, and organizational standards while leading MAS Operating System [MOS] initiatives.
• Take on additional duties aligned with the role as requested by management.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Graduates in Engineering and any other relevant qualification.
• 1 - 3 years of working experience in similar capacity.
• Thorough knowledge in working with SAP systems.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams at any given time (development/ central planning/ procurement/ sales)
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Excellent customer relationship management skills.
