Key Responsibilities
Administer and support the Okta Workforce Identity platform.
Configure and manage Single Sign-On (SSO) using SAML 2.0 and OpenID Connect (OIDC).
Configure and troubleshoot Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) policies.
Manage user lifecycle processes including onboarding, offboarding, and profile updates.
Create and manage users, groups, applications, and group assignments.
Configure application integrations using SAML, OIDC, and SWA.
Support user provisioning and deprovisioning using SCIM where applicable.
Monitor Okta system logs and troubleshoot authentication and provisioning issues.
Implement and maintain sign-on and authentication policies.
Assist in application onboarding and identity integration projects.
Work with internal IT teams to resolve access-related incidents and service requests.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation and standard operating procedures.
Ensure compliance with organizational security policies and best practices.
Qualifications
1–3 years of hands-on experience with Okta Administration.
Strong understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts.
Experience with:
Okta Workforce Identity Cloud
SAML 2.0
OpenID Connect (OIDC)
OAuth 2.0 (basic understanding)
Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
Lifecycle Management
Universal Directory
Group Management
Experience troubleshooting authentication and provisioning issues.
Knowledge of Active Directory (AD) and LDAP integration.
Basic understanding of SCIM provisioning.
Familiarity with REST APIs and Postman is an advantage.
Basic knowledge of any back-end scripting is preferred.
Good analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
