Executive ‐ Merchandising ‐ Bulk (Twelve Months Fixed Term Contract)

(Based at MAS Fabric – Matrix - Thulhiriya)

MAS Matrix, is a diversified flat-knit apparel manufacturing facility under MAS Holdings. Matrix houses 1000 Stoll flatbed machines offerings athleisure wear, performance wear, essentials and knit components for global brands such as Nike, Decathlon, Gymshark, Lacoste, Victoria's Secret and Stoko. Changing business dynamics prompted Matrix to explore innovative product solutions that go beyond the traditional realm of sweaters, launching its latest product platform, MVTM, a collection of highly functional, versatile, and fashion-forward designs.

We are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to effectively manage the business process of alternate / apparel products, from the receipt of inquiries/orders to the dispatch of goods to the customer ensuring business objectives are met and customer satisfaction is achieved by delivering the committed orders full on time.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Participate in the supplier evaluation process, provide relevant information, data to identify / evaluate suppliers on performance.

• Ensure Purchase Orders are placed in a timely manner with customer nominated suppliers and other suppliers, follow up on deliveries to ensure availability of required raw material to meet production targets.

• Follow up the GRN and lab inspection status of the raw materials and troubleshoot with suppliers for errors and rejections.

• Obtain shipment documents (invoice, packing list) verify packing list against PO and PI and inform supplier of shortages whilst taking necessary action to solve same

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

• A degree or a professional qualification in Management, Sourcing, logistics with 2–3 years of experience in apparel merchandising or bulk order management in the garment industry.
• Excellent supplier relationship management skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Good understanding of fabric, trims, and garment construction.
• Experience using ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, and merchandising tools for planning and reporting
