Shape the Future of Employee Experience at CommBank

At CommBank, we're reimagining how more than 50,000 employees grow, develop, connect and thrive at work.

We're building a new People Experience capability that brings together service design, employee experience, AI, data and technology to create simpler, more connected and more human experiences across the entire employee lifecycle.

As Executive Manager, People Experience, you'll define the enterprise blueprint for how our people experience HR services, from joining and onboarding, through learning, career growth and leadership, right through to role changes, support and retirement.

This is a rare opportunity to build and lead a new capability that will shape the future of employee experience at one of Australia's largest organisations.

Do Work That Matters

This is not a traditional HR role.

You'll be responsible for designing the end-to-end employee experience architecture across CommBank, ensuring every People experience is connected, consistent and human-centred.

Working at the intersection of employee experience, service design, AI, technology and business transformation, you'll:

  • Define the enterprise People Experience strategy, blueprint and journey architecture.
  • Identify critical employee journey moments, friction points and opportunities for improvement.
  • Establish service design standards, governance and experience principles for People initiatives.
  • Lead a team of People Experience specialists across journey design, service design and experience strategy.
  • Partner with senior leaders, mission teams and delivery teams to ensure solutions align with the enterprise experience vision.
  • Shape how AI, digital and self-service experiences are designed to support employees and leaders.

We're Interested in Hearing From People Who Have

  • Led enterprise-wide employee or customer experience transformations through service design, journey architecture, experience strategy or human-centred transformation.
  • Built and developed high-performing teams, creating the governance, standards and design practices that drive quality, consistency and impact at scale.
  • Used research, insights and data to shape strategic priorities, influence investment decisions and design future-state experiences.
  • Demonstrated exceptional stakeholder leadership, with the ability to influence senior executives, navigate complexity and bring others on a journey.
  • Applied systems thinking to create connected, human-centred experiences that span multiple teams, products, services and channels.
