Create your best future and join Westpac as an Executive Manager - Commodities, Trade and Transition Advisory
What’s the role?
You’ll take on a highly visible, senior role where your influence will shape how Westpac’s Institutional Bank manages resilience, risk and critical business controls. This high-impact role puts you at the centre of a complex, high-maintenance stakeholder environment, partnering with senior executives and business leaders who rely on you for clear direction, trusted advice and strong challenge.
You’ll lead the Commodities, Trade and Transition Business Controls Advisory function, guiding the embedment of operational risk frameworks including continuous monitoring and reporting of risks. This means navigating competing priorities, balancing regulatory expectations with commercial outcomes, and ensuring leaders stay focused on what matters most. You’ll bring clarity to ambiguity, drive consistency in approach, and act as a trusted voice at the table, lifting capability while holding stakeholders to account in a constructive and influential way.
This is a permanent Sydney based role, with three days in the office to connect with the wider team.
What do I need?
You’ll bring executive presence, strong judgement and the ability to lead through influence in a fast-moving, high-demand environment.
