The Louisiana Department of Public Safety (DPS) is seeking a highly organized, professional, and solutions-oriented Executive Management Officer to provide executive-level support to the Principal Assistant of DPS and the Commissioner of the Office of Motor Vehicles (OMV)
This position serves in a key coordinating role within executive leadership and will assist with the management of high-level administrative, operational, and strategic matters affecting DPS and OMV. The Executive Management Officer will work closely with agency leadership, division administrators, governmental partners, and other stakeholders to coordinate priorities, monitor assignments and initiatives, prepare executive-level correspondence and briefing materials, and help ensure timely follow-through on matters requiring leadership attention.
The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who exercises sound judgment, maintains strict confidentiality, and can successfully manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced executive environment This position requires exceptional communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to work independently while effectively collaborating across organizational lines.

The Executive Management Officer serves as an advisor and confidential assistant to the Principal Assistant for DPS and the Commissioner of the Office of Motor Vehicles who serve as the appointing authorities for the agency. In this role, you will:

Work Schedule: Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday.
Compensation:The salary offered will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
