Job Description

  • Provide legal advice and support to the Head of Legal on a wide range of legal matters
  • Review and draft contracts, agreements, and other legal documents
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
  • Conduct legal research and stay updated on changes in laws and regulations
  • Assist in handling legal disputes and liaise with external legal counsel when necessary
  • Manage and maintain legal documentation and records
  • Assist in the development and implementation of company policies and procedures
  • Assist in conducting legal training and awareness sessions for employees

Person Specification

  • Bachelor's degree in Law from a recognized university
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a corporate setting
  • Sound knowledge of the laws and regulations of Sri Lanka
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
