Job Description

Designation: Senior Analyst

Reporting to: Assistant Manager

Geo to be supported: Global

Work timings – 11:30am to 8:00pm

Location: Bangalore

Roles & responsibilities

Core Pricing Responsibilities:

  • Develop pricing files and manage pricing process for pursuits support
  • Use pricing tools to assemble data points (fees, rate cards, assumptions) across countries and services
  • Analyze requirements and ensure pricing responses meet requirements
  • Calculate and apply appropriate inflation adjustments to existing rate cards and fee arrangements
  • Prepare indicative pricing for member firm requests
  • Analyze, review and challenge fee quotes from member firms to reach optimal quotes

Analysis & Benchmarking:

  • Support in conducting comprehensive benchmarking analysis against industry standards and internal historical data
  • Perform comparative analysis of previous engagement letters to identify pricing trends
  • Document and maintain historical pricing data for future benchmarking
  • Provide data-driven insights for price negotiation strategies

Stakeholder Management:

  • Support negotiation processes with pricing scenarios and alternative fee arrangements
  • Coordinate between local and international teams to provide resolutions
  • Support lead team in pricing coordination
  • Interact with engagement teams for clarification on pricing requests
  • Manage multiple clients/pricing projects simultaneously

Database & Tool Management:

  • Maintain all databases (Approved Fee databases, rate cards, contact lists, benchmarking data)
  • Support pricing tool testing and yearly refresh activities
  • Build automation into standard preparation processes for improved efficiency

Quality & Training:

  • Ensure high quality and timely delivery within agreed SLAs and timelines
  • Help work allocator close RFPs within agreed turnaround times
  • Develop and deliver training sessions for new team

    members as required

This role is for you if you have the below

Educational qualifications

  • University/bachelor’s degree required (preferably MBA)

Work experience

  • A minimum of 3-4 years of experience as a Pricing coordinator/analyst.
  • A background in IT or Professional services kind of firms.
  • Experience with the competitive tender process.

Mandatory technical & functional skills

  • Possess data driven and problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite: Strong command of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word for analyzing data, and creating summary and reports.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining pricing databases.

Preferred technical & functional skills

  • Project management certifications are a plus.
  • LeanSixSigma certifications can be a plus.
  • Basic knowledge about direct, indirect taxes obligations of various countries
  • Knowledge about Financial statements, Tax accounting is an added advantage
  • Exposure to Power BI, SQL or any other visualization tools is a plus.
