Job Description

Executive – IT Store Support

  • Implement, configure, and support IT infrastructure and business applications across retail stores.

  • Provide first and second-level technical support for store systems, including POS, self-checkout, back-office applications, handheld devices, and peripherals.

  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including switches, Wi-Fi access points, firewalls, and internet connectivity.

  • Support store hardware such as POS terminals, barcode scanners, receipt printers, scales, label printers, kiosks, tablets, and PCs.

  • Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to resolve application, infrastructure, and hardware-related issues.

  • Monitor store systems and ensure maximum uptime and operational continuity.

  • Assist in new store openings, relocations, renovations, and technology rollouts.

  • Support user account management, device provisioning, software deployment, and IT asset management activities.

  • Maintain IT documentation, inventory records, support logs, and standard operating procedures.

  • Conduct user training and provide guidance to store staff on systems and technology usage.

  • Ensure compliance with IT security policies, backup procedures, and operational standards.

  • Participate in on-call support and provide assistance during weekends, holidays, or after-hours when required.

Candidate Profile :

  • Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in IT infrastructure, technical support, or retail technology environments.
  • Hands-on experience with Windows / Linux operating systems, networking, hardware troubleshooting, and end-user support.
  • Good understanding of LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, firewalls, and structured cabling.
  • Experience supporting POS systems, retail applications, self-checkout solutions, or store technology will be a distinct advantage.
  • Exposure to Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Intune, and endpoint management solutions is preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently while effectively coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to retail stores across the country.
  • Previous experience in the retail, supermarket, FMCG, or hospitality sector will be considered a strong advantage.
