The Opportunity
The Executive Intern role offers a valuable opportunity for emerging professionals to gain hands-on experience supporting senior leadership within a mission-driven organization. In this role, you will contribute to strategic projects, assist with research and administrative tasks, and gain exposure to cross-functional operations and executive decision-making. This internship is ideal for candidates interested in public administration, business, behavioral health, or nonprofit leadership who are looking to apply their academic knowledge while building real-world experience.
What You’ll Do
- Support executive leadership with strategic projects, research, and administrative tasks.
- Assist with meeting preparation, documentation, and follow-up.
- Participate in cross‑departmental initiatives as assigned by Johnathan or leadership designees.
- Conduct data collection or analysis to support decision‑making.
- Attend relevant internal meetings (when appropriate) to observe processes and gain exposure.
Internship duties may be tailored to meet academic program requirements.

Qualifications
- Must be currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an accredited undergraduate or graduate program
- Preferred fields of study include Public Administration, Business, Social Work, Public Health, Psychology, or related disciplines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism
- Demonstrated interest in behavioral health, crisis response, nonprofit work, or organizational leadership
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Professional demeanor with a willingness to learn and take initiative
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
