Job Responsibilities

• Assist to monitor stocks and ensure requisitions are generated in the system when required;Liaising with suppliers; Communicating to management regarding possible over stock / Stock out situations proactively and also present monthly report for next 3 months material availability,
• Stock controlling function such as Good Receipt/Issue, and Stock verification
• Handle administrative duties of the team; Overtime calculation/monitoring staff; Controlling of overtime in order to ensure all administrative duties are completed and accurate.
• Monitoring 5S in stores; Ensuring that a systematic method is used for storing of goods; Making available relevant information to auditors in a timely manner; Ensuring hygienic conditions are maintained in stores; Visiting outsourced stores regularly and ensuring that they are maintained as per the standards agreed upon in contracts; Liaising with the QA department to ensure that products which are received comply with quality standards in order to ensure that the no substandard products are used in the production process.
• Responsible for maintaining applicable ISO requirements related to QMS, FSMS, EMS & OHSMS in respective areas.

Person Specifications

• Diploma in Supplies & Materials Management or equivalent from a recognized Institute . Minimum of 1-2 years working experience in a SAP based Manufacturing environment is preferred.
• An Understanding of Inventory control / Stores Management preferably related to Consumer Foods.
• Knowledge of Manufacturing Consumer Food Products and related Food Technology, material management and stock maintenance.
• Strong analytical, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with excellent organizational abilities, attention to detail, adaptability, and a proactive approach to work.
