• Lead and inspire the housekeeping team to deliver exceptional service, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest satisfaction.
• Conduct regular room and public area inspections to ensure compliance with Novotel brand standards and operational procedures.
• Coordinate daily team briefings, allocate tasks, and support colleague development through coaching and performance feedback.
• Respond promptly to guest requests, special requirements, and housekeeping concerns to create memorable guest experiences.
• Monitor housekeeping supplies, equipment, and room status reports to ensure smooth and efficient day-to-day operations.
• Promote a safe and collaborative working environment by upholding hotel safety standards and partnering effectively with other departments.

Qualifications

You will be

• Experienced in leading and developing high performing teams
• Knowledgeable in housekeeping standards, procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Proficient in inventory control, record keeping, and administrative tasks.
• Customer-focused with a commitment to exceptional guest satisfaction.
• A confident communicator with strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Legally entitled to work in New Zealand
