SUMMARY OF DUTIES

• To achieve an excellent all round public relations, publicity and promotions towards enhancing the hospital’s image and profitability.
• To assist in executing marketing and promotional activities in making KPJ Penang as the public and corporate preferred medical centre for treatment.

MAIN DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES

• To give idea and undertake any other public relation related activities of the hospital
• Creating hospital events during festivals, annual occasions and other similar events.
• Receiving and entertaining of visitors during their visits and providing them with the related information and comfort during their visit or stay.
• To accomplish the marketing department assignments on given project or activities
• To undertake any other job as may be assigned by the Management from time to time
• To take reasonable care at workplace for the safety of oneself, others and to comply with any instruction or measure on occupational safety, health and environment as required. Report all accidents / incidents and hazard to the superior and complete the Incident Report Form for each accident / incident

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

Degree / Diploma in Marketing/PR or Mass Communication

Basic Course in Microsoft Office or its equivalent

Fluency in written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

MINIMUM

Minimum 2 years’ experience in Sales & Marketing environment

PREFERRED

2 years’ experience gained in an operational healthcare setting.
