Job Description

This is the opportunity to work with a global healthcare leader committed to improving lives, where your organizational excellence, discretion, and collaborative spirit will make a real impact as being our new Executive General Manager Assistant at Novo Nordisk Türkiye. The role is based in Istanbul.

Your New Role

As Executive General Manager (GM) Assistant at Novo Nordisk Türkiye, you will be the right hand to the GM, enabling strategic leadership through exceptional coordination, communication and project support, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and safeguarding compliance. You will manage both high-level priorities and the finer details that keep the organisation moving forward, while leading the assistant community in Novo Nordisk Türkiye and overseeing office operations.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Safeguard compliance: ensure adherence to company quality systems, regional/global mandatory initiatives, policies and guidelines.
  • Implement the Novo Nordisk Way: promote and embed our values, culture and ways of working across the organisation.
  • Meeting & materials ownership: prepare reports, presentations and briefing materials; coordinate management meeting agendas, take minutes and circulate actions and follow-ups.
  • People & office leadership: line-manage four Department Assistants, oversee office management tasks, and maintain a positive, high-performance working climate.
  • Executive support & agenda management: coordinate the GM’s daily calendar with stakeholders, book meetings and travel, organize trips and ensure all logistics and communications are in place.

Your New Department

Novo Nordisk is a global healthcare company with more than 100 years of innovation and leadership in diabetes care. This heritage has given us experience and capabilities that also enable us to help people living with obesity, haemophilia, growth disorders and other serious chronic diseases. We’re a dynamic company in a dynamic industry, and we know that what got us to where we are today is not necessarily what will make us successful in the future.

Your Skills & Qualifications

You will be expected to bring a blend of solid professional credentials, strong interpersonal skills and the practical know‑how to drive projects and support senior leadership. You hold a Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, demonstrating strong project management capabilities and a track record of delivering results.
  • Full professional fluency in English; excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Advanced user of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfortable working in Windows environments.
  • Solid project management skills; planning, execution, stakeholder coordination and follow‑through.
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills with the ability to prepare concise executive‑level materials.
  • Proven ability to work cross‑functionally, build relationships and align diverse stakeholders toward common goals.
  • Proactive, accountable and resilient, able to prioritise, anticipate needs and act autonomously.
  • Comfortable navigating change, proposing improvements and driving practical solutions in evolving contexts.
  • A supportive team player who also leads by example and fosters a positive, high‑performance climate.
