About the Role

Port of Tanjung Pelepas (PTP) is looking for a motivated and customer-oriented Executive, Free Zone Development to join our Commercial Division.

In this role, you will support the day-to-day operations of PTP's Free Zone by assisting in customer relationship management, coordinating commercial activities, facilitating tenancy matters, and supporting business development initiatives. You will work closely with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations while contributing to the growth and success of the Free Zone.

Key Responsibilties

1. Customer & Tenant Support

• Assist in managing relationships with existing Free Zone customers and tenants.
• Respond to customer enquiries and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Support customer onboarding and tenancy-related activities.
• Maintain regular communication with customers to ensure a high level of service satisfaction.

2. Business Development Support

• Assist in identifying prospective customers and supporting business development initiatives.
• Support promotional activities, customer visits, exhibitions, and marketing events.
• Prepare business proposals, presentation materials, and marketing information.
• Conduct market research and gather industry information to support business opportunities.

3. Commercial & Contract Coordination

• Assist in preparing tenancy agreements, commercial documentation, and related correspondence.
• Coordinate documentation with Legal, Finance, and other internal stakeholders.
• Ensure customer records and commercial documents are properly maintained.

4. Operational Coordination

• Liaise with internal departments such as Engineering, Facilities, HSSE, Government Liaison, Finance, and Legal to facilitate customer requirements.
• Coordinate operational matters related to Free Zone tenants.
• Monitor follow-up actions to ensure customer requests are addressed promptly.

5. Administrative & Reporting

• Maintain accurate customer databases and tenancy records.
• Prepare reports, meeting minutes, presentations, and management updates.
• Monitor rental and payment status and coordinate with Finance when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and Integrated Management System (IMS) requirements.

Requirements

1. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in:
• Business Administration
• Marketing
• International Business
• Logistics
• Supply Chain Management
• Economics
• Or a related discipline

2. Experience

• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Candidates with 1–3 years of experience in business development, customer service, commercial operations, logistics, or related fields are encouraged to apply.
• Experience in the logistics, port, industrial property, or Free Zone industry will be an added advantage.

3. Technical Knowledge

• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
• Business communication and report preparation
• Basic commercial and contract administration
• Knowledge of logistics, supply chain, or Free Zone operations is an added advantage
