Key Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain accounting book according to VAS and IFRS (if required), preparation of all financial documents related to the company;

• Organise the yearly audit of accounts;

• Prepare periodic financial statements following the prevailing regulations;

• Ensure accurate and timely submissions of financial/regulatory reports to various regulatory bodies, including both local authorities and Malaysian authorities;

• Managing all government reports related to Finance, to ensure the Bank is compliant with Vietnamese law and Group’s practice;

• Oversee system changes impacting financial management systems and accounting processes, including the assessment, implementation and management of accounting software;

• Ensures compliance with local regulatory and group’s requirements and external auditors;

• Giving guidance to relevant team members on the required knowledge to ensure the Bank is comply with all regulated laws in reporting matters;

• Work consultatively with respective departments to develop effective internal control system;

• Any other ad-hoc requests from the management in relating to the Finance division

Job Specification

• Bachelor's Degree or Professional Qualification in the relevant discipline (Accounting/Finance/Business/Economics/Financial Engineering)

• 2 years of experience of regulatory reporting is an advantage

• Sufficient English for communication, especially written English

• 2 years of experience of relevant banking background in established bank / financial institutions is a plus

Technical/Functional skills

• Good MS Office skills particularly strong capabilities in MS Excel.

• Intermediate Big Data processing skills (SQL…)

• In-depth knowledge of accounting and banking business

• Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

• Good numeracy and strong analytical skills
