POSITION GENERAL SUMMARY

Support business functions by providing financial guidance and to ensure that all stakeholders within the business area receive the financial information they require to drive the business performance. This may involve pricing analysis, costing and project work.

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS

• Prepare journals for month-end closing, including accruals of revenue and expenses as well as inter-company transactions for MA (Sepang)/MA Prop.
• Attends to the external, internal audit queries and matters. Compiling all information required for interim and Final Audit which is to be provided in Auditor's format / schedules.
• Performs that the Audit queries are properly served timely and effectively.
• Assist to compile relevant data and attend tax queries for tax computation purpose.
• Performs the execution of the preparation of yearly OPEX and revenue budget of assigned subsidiary for MA(Sepang).
• Performs the allocation of approved budget to cost centre/profit centre for MA(Sepang).
• Performs the execution of monitoring of OPEX budget utilisation including Budget Transfers for MA(Sepang).
• Preparation of Verification forms for payments MA(Sepang).
• Preparation of Accrual Reports for MA(Sepang).
• Preparation of Provision for Doubtful Debts Report & the calculation of User fee for MA(Sepang).
• Support the management in performing its business function in the provision of quality financial contribution in achieving the organization's goals and objectives.
• Support in managing the flows of accurate and timely financial information between business unit, shared services and group finance.
• Attend to ad-hoc report required by external & internal parties.

Key Challenges

• To adhere to tight deadlines and to attend to request for information from internal & external parties.
• To attend queries from cost centers/divisions on any financial matters.
• To gather information from all cost centers with regard to GST/SST/ tax / audit issues/queries.

Skills

• Well versed with SAP system and its related sub module.
• Good interpersonal skills and proactive.
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision.

Education

External

• Recognised Degree preferably in Accounting/Finance

Relevant Industries

Unique Requirement

• Professional Qualification (ICAA, ICAEW, CPA, ACCA, CIMA or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)

External

• Degree holder with minimum CGPA 3.0 and minimum 1 year relevant experience.
