 – Executive Finance (Mohali)

If you are a Finance & Accounting professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Copeland has an exciting role for you! Based in our Shared Service Center at Mohali, you will be the trusted advisor on all Finance & Accounting related issues affecting the organization supported. The person in this position is responsible for day-to-day Finance & Accounting activities, Audits, Legal & Statutory Compliances. The ideal candidate should be a Finance Professional who has excellent skills & knowledge and is eager to get things done. Key to the position is the ability to collaborate within organization as well as with external agencies whenever required.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Ensuring daily booking of purchases invoices & vendor payments
  • Ensuring booking & accounting of sales invoices along with E Invoices, customer receipts accounting
  • Keep track of all the expenses that need to be back charged.
  • Ensuring smooth Employee claims booking & payment
  • Handling month close activities which mainly include Fixed Assets module closing, monthly provision entries
  • Assist in Month Reporting & Actual Vs Budget Analysis
  • Legal & Statutory Compliances which mainly include compliances under SEZ, Income Tax, GST etc.
  • Assist in SSC budgeting activities & to keep the cost under budgeted rates.
  • Create monthly cashflows and also monitoring planned budget vs Actuals cash.
  • Create POs for services as applicable. Maintaining all the POs, invoices, records, and statutory and legal documents
  • Working with banks and e-commerce portals to drive R&R awards for employees.
  • Audits data & working schedules preparation as required by Auditors
  • Handling bank reconciliation and keep the records up to date.
  • Dealing with External Agencies, customs, SEZ officers whenever required

WHO YOU ARE

You will readily take action on challenges, without unnecessary planning. You will balance the interests of multiple stakeholders and consider cultural and ethical factors in the decision-making process and act fairly despite conflicting demands of stakeholders.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Accounts or related field
  • 5-6 years of Demonstrable experience in Finance & Accounting with a focus on Compliances, Audits, and routine accounting activities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Proven knowledge of Oracle or any other ERP
  • In-depth understanding of compliances under SEZ, Income Tax & GST
