Senior Executive – Finance

(Based at Aqua, Pelwatte)

We are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to Maintain the assigned employee category payrolls in an accurate manner and process timely payment whilst ensuring that all statutory dues are correctly computed and remitted in a timely manner.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and support timely month-end and year-end financial closing activities for Central Manufacturing functions, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and reliability of financial reporting.

  • Prepare financial statements, forecasts, variance analyses, and overhead reviews to support effective decision-making and drive operational efficiency across Central Manufacturing departments.

  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, group policies, internal controls, and reporting requirements across all central departmental finance processes.

  • Drive budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, KPI monitoring, and financial performance reviews for Central Manufacturing operations to support strategic and operational objectives.

  • Identify key financial and operational risks, develop and implement mitigation plans, and proactively identify opportunities for process improvements, productivity enhancements, and cost optimization.

  • Provide end-to-end financial and operational support to Central Manufacturing Operations through effective business partnering and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

  • Ensure timely and efficient completion of ad hoc assignments and management requests while maintaining high standards of accuracy, responsiveness, and professionalism.

KNOWLADGE AND SKILLS:

  • Degree in Finance or Professional qualification in CIMA / ACCA / CA (fully or part qualified).

  • 2-3 years of experience in the relevant field.

  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to interpret financial data and support decision-making.

  • Experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
