Executive ‐ Environmental Sustainability

(Based at Biyagama)

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the required standards at internal and external environmental sustainability assessment tools and audits in the plant.
• Engage relevant stakeholders in consultation with management to identify, implement and monitor agreed upon environmental initiatives/activities in an efficient and effective
• manner.
• Support team in implementing new strategies, develop innovative methods of handling energy, emissions, water and waste in an effective manner by constantly researching on new technologies/practices ensuring the effectiveness of sustainability initiatives.
• Support teams to develop and executive programs to create awareness on environment
• among employees and help improve organizational culture .
• Report plant environmental sustainability KPI updates and environmental parameters to
• divisional/corporate at given frequencies.

Qualifications

• Degree in Environmental science/Engineering or any related degree.
• 2-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Communication Skills
