
Executive Director | Senior Living
Location: New Bern, NC
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Executive Director to oversee the daily operations of a senior living community in New Bern, NC. This individual will play a key leadership role in fostering a positive environment for residents, families, employees, and referral partners.
The ideal candidate will combine strong leadership skills with financial acumen, guiding the community to meet revenue goals while carefully managing expenses. We are looking for a professional who thrives in an environment built on respect, transparency, and exceptional service.
As Executive Director, you will inspire your team, set the tone for community culture, and ensure high standards of care. Provide overall leadership and direction for the community.
Ensure compliance with all state regulations and quality standards.
Manage and monitor budgets to achieve financial objectives.
Recruit, train, and retain a talented and engaged team.
Maintain strong relationships with residents, families, staff, and referral sources.
Foster a culture of respect, service excellence, and collaboration.
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience as an Executive Director in Assisted Living, Independent Living, or Home Care.
Knowledge of state regulations governing senior living communities.
Administrator’s license, if required by the state.
Strong computer proficiency and ability to learn new systems quickly.
