Job Description

Red Rock Casino, Resort & Spa is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Executive Director of Player Development to lead and oversee the strategic direction of our Player Development department. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in gaming, hospitality, and guest relationship management, with a proven track record of maximizing player loyalty, retention, and revenue growth. As the Executive Director of Player Development, you will be responsible for shaping and executing strategies that elevate the guest experience, drive VIP player engagement, and expand Red Rock’s position as a premier destination for gaming and resort experiences.

Lead the Player Development team in the creation, implementation, and optimization of strategic programs that drive player acquisition, retention, and revenue growth. Develop short- and long-term strategies for expanding the VIP player base and maintaining high levels of guest satisfaction and loyalty. Build and nurture relationships with top-tier players, ensuring their experience is personalized and memorable. Develop tailored incentives, rewards, and programs to enhance player engagement, loyalty, and spend. Manage and mentor a team of Player Development executives & Casino Hosts, ensuring they have the tools, training, and resources to succeed in their roles. Foster a positive, high-performance team culture focused on customer satisfaction and achieving performance targets. Oversee the analysis of player data to identify trends and opportunities for driving revenue growth. Collaborate with senior leadership on budgeting and forecasting for the Player Development department, ensuring optimal resource allocation and maximizing ROI on marketing and promotional efforts.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 10 years of experience in the gaming, hospitality, or resort industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role focused on Player Development, VIP services, or similar areas. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field is preferred. Proven track record of developing and executing successful player development strategies that drive revenue growth and enhance guest satisfaction.

Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a high-performing team. In-depth knowledge of casino operations, loyalty programs, and guest experience management. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills with the ability to build relationships with top-tier players and senior executives. Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data to drive decision-making and strategy. Ability to work effectively under pressure, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strategic thinker with a creative approach to problem-solving and innovation.
