Lead the strategic transformation of Sydney Trains' rollingstock maintenance delivery—driving fleet performance, safety compliance, and service excellence across one of Australia's most critical public transport networks.
In this role, you'll
Provide strategic leadership for compliant Level 1 rollingstock maintenance services across Sydney Trains' entire fleet.
Architect a maintenance framework that optimises service delivery, drives performance outcomes, and ensures maximum fleet reliability and availability to meet network and customer demand.
Oversee efficient delivery of in-house and outsourced services, managing a large, diverse workforce and third-party partners.
Build robust stakeholder relationships, ensure contractors meet technical, regulatory, and commercial requirements, and drive continuous improvement across the end-to-end delivery model.
Lead development of condition-based technical maintenance plans while providing expert strategic advice on emerging technologies and practices.
Represent Sydney Trains on key committees, manage integrated rostering, monitor service effectiveness, and execute safety responsibilities—all while aligning delivery with enterprise objectives and building organisational capability.
