Under the leadership of the Regional Vice President - Mercy Health Foundation, the Executive Director-Foundation is responsible for generating a no fee-based income through elements of a comprehensive philanthropy program and building a culture of philanthropy throughout the hospital. Cultivate a strong working relationship with hospital president and administrative team to serve major gifts and build a culture of Philanthropy. Such elements include donor acquisition, annual giving programs, special events, major gifts/capital campaigns, planned giving as well as managing a portfolio of prospects. This position is also responsible for overseeing staff as appropriate. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Position Details:

**This position primarily works on-site at our Ada and Ardmore Foundation Office locations and requires weekly travel to each location. Occasional opportunities to work remotely**

Qualifications:

Education:
- Minimum of BS or BA degree.

- Experience developing strategic plans.


Experience:
- Five years of experience in healthcare philanthropy.
- Management experience in meeting goals.
- Proven leadership skills.
- Excellent writing and organization skills.
- Highly effective at personal communication with strong emphasis on interpersonal relationship skills.
- Demonstrated creativity and can-do attitude.
- Ability to work well with a wide variety of people.
- Proficient in developing and adhering to schedules and timelines.
- Personal integrity and confidence in exhibiting leadership skills when needed.
- Proficient in Microsoft applications and at least knowledgeable if not proficient in Raisers Edge.
- Adherence to deadlines and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Maintains a professional work style.
