What We Are Looking For
The Executive Director leads the strategic direction, daily operations, and relationship-building with former student athletes to ensure the foundation's continued growth and success in engaging, connecting, and honoring the legacy of all Baylor Letterwinners. Responsibilities include collaborating with various entities to cultivate networks, steward alum relationships, manage budget, oversee membership programs, coordinate events, support student-athletes, and enhance association brand and visibility.
All applicants must be eligible to work in the US on a full time basis.
What Will You Do
Works in conjunction with the B Association Board of Directors, Athletics Department, the Baylor Bear Foundation, and University Advancement to cultivate and network with Baylor Letterwinners.
Steward relationships with former Baylor student-athletes across all current, future and previously officially sponsored Baylor Athletics Sport Programs.
Provide first-class customer service to alumni, friends, and donors of Baylor University
Develop and implement a Letterwinner's Association engagement and communication plan, across multiple platforms.
Steward operating budget for the B Association.
Responsible for the creation and timely management of a sustainable database of all former Baylor student athletes and current members of B Association.
Oversight and evaluation of annual membership dues and benefits
Create and manage sustainable student-athlete Letter Awards distribution program
Oversee annual Baylor Athletics Hall of Fame selections and Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony.
Oversee Baylor Athletics Sport Program Legend Awards and recognition
Oversee annual Baylor Athletics Wall of Honor selections.
Oversee seasonal B Association social events (e.g., Bowl game social, NCAA post-season competition socials,
golf tournaments, coach’s tour socials, etc.)
Oversee and manage B Association Letterwinner’s Lounge and tailgate tent on football gamedays
Collaborate with internal and external units for mentoring and programming opportunities with current student-athletes.
Ex Officio (nonvoting member) of the B Association Board of Directors
Collaborate with the B Association Board of Directors Chair for quarterly meetings (e.g., initiatives, financial report, endowed scholarship report, relationship management growth platforms.
Conduct former student-athlete recognitions and celebrations.
