Job Description

Join a customer marketing organization focused on deepening engagement, driving revenue, and building trust across branded card portfolios, offers, and travel. In this role, you will create the performance infrastructure that helps teams deliver more relevant experiences with measurable impact.

As an executive director marketing performance enablement in Customer marketing, you build the performance infrastructure and operating discipline that powers customer-centric marketing across the existing customer marketing organization. You lead a center of excellence that translates marketing priorities into scalable capabilities that improve targeting, speed to market, measurement quality, and performance outcomes. You partner closely with marketing, data, personalization, operations, technology, and controls stakeholders to enable consistent, data-informed decision-making and continuous optimization.

Job responsibilities

  • Set and align the performance enablement direction across data integration, measurement, testing, process, controls alignment, and artificial intelligence transformation in support of customer marketing.
  • Enable a unified view of customer engagement by advancing cross-channel data integration and performance visibility across campaigns and touchpoints.
  • Establish measurement and dashboard standards, including key performance indicator frameworks and reporting routines that support consistent decision-making.
  • Guide the testing and learning agenda to increase test velocity and strengthen performance optimization.
  • Partner with data and analytics and personalization teams to translate priorities into actionable data use cases, segmentation approaches, and measurement capabilities.
  • Support adoption of attribute-based, data-informed marketing to improve targeting, personalization, and engagement.
  • Partner with controls and technology risk stakeholders to align governance standards and best practices for optimization and controls readiness.
  • Advance marketing operations and workflows to improve speed to market, consistency, and scalability across customer marketing.
  • Enable adoption of artificial intelligence tools and workflows across data, measurement, and operations to improve insights and efficiency.
  • Build and develop a high-performing team, fostering accountability, innovation, and performance-driven thinking.
  • Partner with customer marketing leadership to support processes, systems, outcomes, and culture through transformation, including acting as a champion for artificial intelligence adoption.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Ten or more years of progressive experience in marketing performance, data strategy, marketing operations, marketing technology, analytics, or related functions.
  • Strong background in analytics or quantitative disciplines, with the ability to translate business needs into actionable capabilities and outcomes.
  • Demonstrated success building and scaling measurement frameworks, dashboards, and testing and learning strategies that enable data-driven decisions.
  • Experience advancing marketing operations, process transformation, and marketing technology enablement in a complex, matrixed environment.
  • Strong understanding of customer marketing, performance measurement, segmentation, campaign execution, and governance considerations.
  • Proven ability to partner across marketing, analytics, operations, and technology teams to drive aligned execution.
  • Experience enabling adoption of data, artificial intelligence, and automation to improve performance and operational efficiency.
  • Proven ability to build, lead, and develop high-performing teams.
  • Exceptional communication, executive presence, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and drive alignment.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Advanced degree in data science, analytics, marketing technology, or a related field.
