
"The Executive Director will be responsible for the strategic direction, operational management, and overall performance of perioperative services including pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care. This role requires a visionary leader with a strong background in healthcare management, exceptional communication skills, and a proven track record of driving excellence in surgical services.
Develop and implement strategic initiatives to optimize perioperative services in alignment with organizational goals and industry best practices. Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of surgeons, nurses, anesthesiologists, and support staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care. Collaborate with clinical leaders to enhance clinical pathways, protocols, and quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and safety. Oversee operational functions including scheduling, resource allocation, budget management, and performance metrics tracking to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the perioperative services department to enhance patient experience and staff satisfaction. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including physicians, administrators, and external partners to promote collaboration and strategic partnerships. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and quality assurance protocols within perioperative services. Analyze data and trends to identify areas for improvement and implement evidence-based solutions to enhance operational performance and financial sustainability. Represent the organization in professional forums, conferences, and community events to promote perioperative services and advance the organization's reputation."

Additional Job Description
EducationMaster’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field required.
Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive leadership experience in perioperative services, with at least 3 years in a senior management role. Proven track record of successful leadership, strategic planning, and change management in a healthcare environment. Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, financial analysis, and revenue cycle management. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to drive quality improvement initiatives and implement best practices to enhance patient care. Knowledge of regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and healthcare policies related to perioperative services. Ability to inspire and motivate a team towards achieving organizational goals while fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
