Job Description

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
To manage and grow the hospital's digital presence across social media and website platforms by creating engaging content, fostering online communities, maintaining accurate digital information, safeguarding the hospital's online reputation, and driving audience engagement to support the hospital's business and branding objectives.

JOB
· Manage the hospital's official social media platforms, ensuring timely, consistent and engaging content is published according to the content calendar.

· Monitor daily social media activities, respond promptly to enquiries, comments and direct messages, and escalate complex cases where necessary.

· Plan, develop and execute social media campaigns to increase brand awareness, audience engagement and follower growth.

· Monitor social media trends and recommend creative content ideas that resonate with target audiences.

· Prepare monthly social media performance reports and recommend continuous improvements based on insights.

· Produce high-quality photo and video content for digital platforms, events, campaigns and hospital activities.

· Edit photos and short-form videos using mobile editing applications such as CapCut and Canva to support timely content publication.

· Develop engaging captions and digital content aligned with the hospital's branding and communication guidelines.

· Support live event coverage through photography, videography and real-time social media updates.

· Maintain and update the hospital website to ensure information remains accurate, relevant and up to date.

· Coordinate with internal stakeholders to update doctors' profiles, including biographies, qualifications, fellowship information, clinical interests and other relevant details.

· Update service pages, promotional campaigns, news articles and announcements as required.

· Regularly review website content to ensure consistency, accuracy and a positive user experience.

· Monitor online conversations, reviews and social media mentions relating to the hospital.

· Identify potential issues, negative sentiment or viral content that may impact the hospital's reputation and escalate appropriately.

· Support timely and professional responses to online feedback while adhering to the hospital's communication protocols.

· Monitor competitors and industry trends to identify opportunities and potential risks.

· Analyse social media and website performance using available analytics tools.

· Identify opportunities to improve audience engagement, content performance and digital reach.

· Recommend and implement initiatives to strengthen the hospital's online community and follower base.

· Stay updated on digital marketing trends, emerging platforms and best practices.

· Work closely with consultants to gather content and ensure timely updates.

· Support the Business Growth & Marketing team in digital campaigns, events and branding initiatives.

Coordinate with external agencies or vendors where required.

JOB REQUIREMENT

Education:

Diploma or degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Digital Media, Multimedia or a related field.

Knowledgeand Experiences:

· Minimum 2–4 years of experience in digital marketing, social media management or content creation.

· Experience managing multiple social media platforms for an organisation or brand.

· Experience creating photo and video content for digital platforms.

· Experience managing or updating website content using a Content Management System (CMS) is an advantage.

· Experience in the healthcare industry is preferred but not essential.

Skills& Competencies:

· Strong understanding of social media platforms, audience engagement and digital marketing best practices.

· Knowledge of social media analytics and performance reporting.

· Understanding of online reputation management and crisis communication.

· Familiarity with website content management and user experience principles.

· Knowledge of current digital trends, content formats and platform algorithms.

Specialskills required

· Proficient in Canva and CapCut for content creation and editing.

· Strong photography and videography skills using mobile devices and/or cameras.

· Basic video editing and graphic design capabilities.

· Copywriting skills with the ability to develop engaging social media captions and digital content.

· Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator or Premiere Pro) or similar editing software is an added advantage.

· Good organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
