Job Description
The Executive Coordinator works closely with the CEO and Executive Leadership Team to support the effective operation of Northwest Center.
This role serves as a connector across the organization, coordinating board activities, supporting executive team operations, and helping ensure important commitments and priorities remain organized and on track. The Executive Coordinator has the opportunity to work with leaders across Northwest Center, build strong relationships, and contribute to initiatives that support the organization's long-term success.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys bringing order to complex work, coordinating across multiple teams, and helping keep important work organized and moving forward.
Location: Seattle, WA
Schedule: Monday – Friday; 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary: $81,000.00 – $96,000.00 per year

Key Responsibilities
Executive Team Operations
- Support the effectiveness of the CEO and Executive Leadership Team through planning, coordination, and follow through
- Maintain visibility into key organizational commitments, priorities, and deadlines
- Monitor progress on key initiatives and elevate risks or barriers as appropriate
- Track action items and decisions emerging from CEO, Executive Leadership Team, and board meetings
- Develop simple reporting mechanisms that provide visibility into progress on major initiatives
- Coordinate executive retreats, leadership meetings, and enterprise-wide events
- Facilitate preparation for ELT meetings and other leadership forums
- Drive agendas, materials, and follow up activities
- Support communication and coordination across teams and divisions
- Build trusted relationships across the organization to strengthen information flow and collaboration.
Board & Governance Support
- Serve as the primary coordinator for board and committee activities
- Manage the annual board calendar, meeting cadence, and governance deliverables
- Coordinate development, review, and distribution of board and committee materials
- Partner with ELT members to ensure timely preparation of reports, presentations, and supporting documentation
- Track board requests, commitments, and follow-up actions
- Support onboarding and engagement of board members
- Coordinate logistics and communications related to board and committee meetings
Enterprise Initiatives & Project Coordination
- Lead or coordinate initiatives assigned by the CEO
- Develop project plans and timelines
- Coordinate internal and external stakeholders as appropriate to support successful outcomes
- Coordinate organization-wide communications associated with major initiatives
- Provide regular updates on project status and milestones to the CEO and Executive Leadership Team
- Examples of typical projects might include:
- Enterprise-wide coordination in support of the CEO's top priorities
- Major cross-functional efforts that lack a natural operational owner
- Workplace operations and facilities coordination, including office moves or space planning
Experience
- 8+ years of progressive experience in operations, program management, executive administration, business operations or related fields
- Experience supporting senior executives and working across multiple functions within a complex organization
- Demonstrated success in coordinating large initiatives and driving results through influence rather than direct authority
- Experience in a mission-driven, nonprofit, healthcare, education, or social enterprise environment is helpful but not required
