Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Executive Communications Manager to join the EMEA AWS Specialists and Partners (ASP) organization.

The Executive Communication Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic communications and engagement plans that promote ASP's vision and goals to global internal and external audiences. They will create compelling content for executive communications, manage high-profile speaking engagements, and drive thought leadership opportunities that showcase AWS's business value.

Success in this role requires deep customer obsession, passion for technology, and ability to deliver results through effective communications.

The ideal candidate will design data-driven messaging strategies, identify high-value engagement opportunities, and develop engaging executive-level content. They must demonstrate exceptional writing skills, experience leveraging AI tools to augment their work, maintain trusted relationships with stakeholders, and uphold the highest standards while managing multiple projects. Critical to success is the ability to have bias for action, balance driving vs. being directed, stay curious about new initiatives, and take calculated risks to innovate and raise the bar on communication approaches.

Key job responsibilities
• Work directly with the EMEA ASP Senior Leadership executives and serve as an integral part of ASP’s Strategic Communications team
• Prepare executives for internal and external speaking engagements, including the creation of content for global meetings focused on achieving business outcomes; video script writing; social media strategy, content creation and execution; and external facing keynotes and thought leadership.
• Work closely with the AWS PR, Marketing and Subject Matter Expert teams to align on communication strategies and messaging.
• Serve as writer for senior executives for global audiences, including driving the creation and delivery of compelling, executive-level message and presentation materials (slides, scripts, messaging documents, and customer stories, thought leadership)
• Manage speaking engagement calendar with other team members to ensure alignment of key messages both internally and externally
• Measure and share results of speaking engagements to evaluate impact
• Research and monitor industry trends and developments to identify opportunities for enhancing executive communications.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills to work effectively with executives and stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

Basic Qualifications


- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or equivalent
- 7+ years experience in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience supporting senior executives
- Experience working within the business-to-business technology sector

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience engaging, verbally and in writing, with internal and external stakeholders to convey complex ideas in a clear, concise manner
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience designing and executing joint marketing plans with strategic alliance partners with global footprint
- Demonstrated experience building trust and influencing cross-functional teams and senior leaders
- Experience driving cultural change and influencing organizations through communications, from audience and stakeholder analysis through implementation and success metrics tracking
