RACV Healesville Country Club & Resort is entering an exciting new phase, with 48 additional guest rooms, increased conference and events activity, growing leisure visitation, and major upgrades across key dining and kitchen facilities. As Executive Chef, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of food and beverage at the resort.

Reporting to the Resort Manager, you will lead all kitchen operations, overseeing restaurant dining, breakfast service, conferences, events, weddings and guest dining experiences. This is a highly visible leadership role where you'll drive menu innovation, optimise operations, develop a high-performing culinary team, and deliver exceptional food experiences for members and guests.

What You'll Be Responsible For

  • Leading, coaching and developing the kitchen brigade.
  • Preparing the operation for significant growth in accommodation, dining and events.
  • Driving menu development, menu engineering and commercial performance.
  • Enhancing breakfast, Banyalla and event dining experiences.
  • Managing labour, food costs, purchasing and budgets.
  • Maintaining exceptional quality, consistency and service standards.
  • Supporting refurbishment projects and helping shape future kitchen operations.
  • Building a strong and sustainable hospitality team within the local region.

About You

You are an experienced Executive Chef, or an accomplished Head Chef ready to take the next step, with proven success in hotel, resort or large-scale hospitality environments.

You'll bring:

  • Strong leadership experience within high-volume food operations.
  • Sound commercial acumen across budgeting, forecasting and cost control.
  • A passion for developing people and creating high-performing teams.
  • Experience balancing operational excellence with creativity and innovation.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Why Join RACV?

This is more than an Executive Chef role. It's an opportunity to leave a lasting mark on a growing resort, influence major operational improvements, and help shape the next generation of dining experiences in the heart of the Yarra Valley.

If you're ready to lead a resort culinary operation through an exciting period of expansion and transformation, we'd love to hear from you.
