Job Description

We are looking for an exceptional Executive Chef to join our beautiful resort and create unforgettable culinary experiences for our guests.

The Executive Chef is responsible for the overall culinary operations of all restaurants, bars, banqueting functions, and In-Villa Dining. This role ensures the delivery of outstanding gastronomic experiences while maintaining the highest standards of quality, consistency, hygiene, and food safety.

The Executive Chef will foster a positive working environment, promote strong colleague relations, and lead the training, development, and performance of the culinary team. As a key member of the leadership team, the Executive Chef will drive innovation, operational excellence, and financial performance across all culinary outlets.

The Exective Chef will be responsible for

  • Develop innovative menus, recipes, and presentation concepts that reflect the resort's culinary vision and guest expectations.
  • Lead, inspire, and coordinate all kitchen operations and culinary teams.
  • Ensure the quality, freshness, consistency, and timely preparation of all food offerings.
  • Maintain and enforce the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and workplace safety.
  • Manage food costs, labor costs, and kitchen expenses while maximizing profitability and minimizing waste.
  • Oversee procurement, inventory control, and supplier relationships.
  • Review staffing requirements to meet operational, service, and financial objectives.
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and develop culinary talent.
  • Establish and monitor performance standards, providing regular coaching and feedback.
  • Collaborate closely with Food & Beverage leadership to enhance the overall guest experience.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction, respond to feedback, and resolve concerns professionally and promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, local regulations, and luxury hospitality standards.

What we are looking for

  • Degree, diploma, or professional certification in Culinary Arts or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as an Executive Chef or in a senior culinary leadership role within a luxury hotel or resort environment.
  • Strong knowledge of international cuisines, culinary trends, and luxury dining concepts.
  • Proven leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
  • Excellent financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and inventory management.
  • Comprehensive understanding of food safety, HACCP, and hygiene standards.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Demonstrated creativity, passion, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, public holidays, and on-call when required.
