What You'll Do:
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring high food quality and consistency
- Create and update menu items, focusing on innovative and seasonal dishes
- Manage kitchen staff, providing training, leadership, and performance evaluations
- Maintain food safety, sanitation, and organizational standards in the kitchen
- Control food inventory and ordering to ensure cost-effective practices
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless restaurant operations
- Monitor food waste and implement sustainable practices
- Ensure the kitchen meets health department regulations and safety standards
- Foster a positive, collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork
What You'll Need:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar culinary leadership role
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food preparation, and menu development
- Ability to lead and motivate a diverse culinary team
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and health codes
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
