A growing food and wellness organization in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead a large-scale meal production operation focused on delivering high-quality, nutrition-conscious meals. This is an exciting opportunity for a culinary leader with experience in high-volume food production, meal subscription services, and operational excellence.

About the Role

The Executive Chef will lead and manage day-to-day kitchen production operations, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality meals while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will be responsible for menu execution, production planning, team leadership, cost control, quality assurance, and continuous operational improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Culinary & Production Leadership

• Lead all kitchen production activities and oversee daily food preparation operations.
• Ensure consistent execution of recipes, portion control, presentation standards, and meal quality.
• Drive culinary innovation while maintaining operational efficiency.
• Develop and standardize recipes and production processes to support scalability and consistency.
• Collaborate with nutrition professionals to deliver balanced, health-focused meal programs.

Operations & Team Management

• Build, lead, train, and develop a high-performing kitchen team.
• Manage production schedules and workflow to meet operational demands.
• Establish efficient processes to support business growth and increased production volumes.
• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Cost Control & Inventory Management

• Manage food costing, budgeting, and production planning.
• Oversee inventory management, procurement, and supplier relationships.
• Monitor stock levels and implement strategies to minimize waste and optimize resources.
• Ensure cost-effective operations without compromising quality.

Quality, Safety & Compliance

• Maintain the highest standards of food quality, hygiene, and safety.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP and food safety regulations.
• Implement quality control systems across all stages of production.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure operational excellence.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or a related field.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior culinary leadership role, preferably as an Executive Chef.
• Proven experience launching, managing, or scaling meal subscription or large-scale food production operations.
• Demonstrated success leading kitchen teams in high-volume production environments.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong culinary expertise with a passion for healthy and nutrition-focused cuisine.
• Experience in menu development, recipe standardization, and food costing.
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management, procurement, waste reduction, and budget control.
• Thorough understanding of food safety regulations, HACCP, and quality management systems.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and operational planning skills.
