Executive Chef – Culinary Visionary & Experience Creator

This role requires a culinary visionary who excels in all cuisines from Italian to French to American Classic and more with the understanding of the refined expectations of our elite clientele. This candidate will possess a deep knowledge of international, regional, and local cuisines with emphasis on Italian cooking traditions and the demonstration of exceptional leadership in a high-end hospitality.
Responsibilities:
• Developing and overseeing the execution of an innovation, seasonally driven menu grounded in authenticity in the appropriate international, regional, or local cuisines aligned with Michelin or James Beard level standards
• Managing all kitchen operations within the hospitality environment based on elite clientele specifications to ensure seamless service, top-tier food quality and operational efficiency
• Preparation of regional Italian cuisines (e.g., Sicily, Campania, Emilia- Romagna etc.) and other international or local inspired cuisines
• Souring premium ingredients – imported and local – to ensure maximum freshness and flavor integrity – includes but not limited to primal pork and beef cuts, specialty cheeses and produce
• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with trusted vendors
• Negotiating pricing terms with both suppliers and customers to secure favorable deals for all
• Staying current with market trends, demand fluctuations and competitor activities to make informed purchasing decisions
• Leading, mentoring, and inspiring the culinary team, fostering a culture of excellence, precision and continual development
• Working collaboratively with the Food and Beverage leadership team to align on the restaurant’s offerings in relation to the elite customers needs
• Monitoring P&L, food and labor costs, inventory levels to maintain profitability without compromising quality
• Maintaining accurate records of all transactions, contracts and financial details in compliance with company policies
• Following all safety and hygiene procedures – including but not limited to proper handling of storage and food products
• Staying up to date on industry trends to elevate prepared dishes and provide expert advice to customers
• Performing any other tasks assigned by executive leadership
Experience:
• Preferred: Eight (8) to ten (10) years culinary experience with at least three (3) to five (5) years experience in leading fine dining kitchens of Michelin starred caliber or equivalent
• Required: ServeSafe Certification
• Preferred: Culinary degree or equivalent but not required with sufficient high-level experience
• Proven ability to deliver outstanding guest experiences in luxury hospitality or top-tier standalone restaurants
Schedule:
• Days and start times TBD based on business needs
• 5-6 day work week
• Flexibility to work hours needed based on event schedules
Environment:
• Kitchen environment – varying temperatures based on seasons and equipment
Skills:
• Physical abilities: May be required to lift up to 80-85lbs.; standing, bending, lifting and twisting for up to 90% of your shift; frequently lifting product from various heights including floor level to over your head; Ability to stand or walk at least 10 hours daily; working in various temperature controlled environments;
• Strong communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with peers and leaders on a daily basis
• Organizational Skills: Ability to fulfill executive directions in a timely manner; ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
